Dentistry
At Marshall and Pringle, we offer a high standard of oral care.
Dental checks are a routine part of your pet’s examinations; preventative dental care is of as much importance as the treatment of discovered dental disease. Untreated dental disease can have a profound impact on the health of the entire body, including causing problems with heart and kidney function.
Maintaining optimal oral hygiene at home can help prolong your pet’s life and help avoid smelly breath and costly extractions. We offer a range of dental home care advice and products, including how to achieve teeth cleaning from a young age, dental diets and chews, and water additives.
Should your pet require dentistry, a comprehensive oral and dental assessment including full mouth dental x-rays, teeth cleaning, polishing, and enamel protectants can be performed in-house. We also work closely with a dental specialist, providing referral for root canal and tooth salvage procedures, or congenital malformation issues, to provide your pet with the best standard of care available.
